XEROX PUBLICATION, 2018
A fictional exhibition which argues that Aileen Wuornos (the first sensationalised female serial killer) was a feminist icon. The exhibition uses objects to argue that neglect throughout her life and systemic misogyny are ultimately responsible for her crimes. The exhibition highlights the gender bias in the American judicial system and explores how we, as a society, process acts of violence. This project consisted of a poster, an exhibition catalogue and a moving image.
